Hi, I'm Raquel! I'm a Colombian-American artist who loves illustrating, animating, and making comics. I grew up just outside of DC in Northern Virginia, and I'm currently living in New York City with my partner and our stinky critter larping as a dog. I love using whimsical color pallets and am inspired by biology, fantasy series, fun video games, and the ever changing would around us. I use digital and traditional materials; my traditional tools of choice are colored pencils, markers, and watercolor, and my digital tool box consists of programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Blender, and Premiere Pro. I'm still looking for my niche, but I'd love to work in vis dev or character design.
